The B48 SneedSpeed Crate Engine is a fully assembled long block replacement engineered by SneedSpeed for F-series MINI Cooper S models equipped with the turbocharged B48 engine. It is designed for owners who want to eliminate common factory weak points and install a proven, purpose-built foundation matched to how the car is actually used.

Depending on configuration and supporting modifications, expected output ranges from approximately 220–260 wheel horsepower in Street form, 300–350 wheel horsepower in Super Sport form, and 400+ wheel horsepower in Race form, with power capability governed by airflow, fueling, turbocharger selection, and calibration rather than short-block limitations.

Every B48 SneedSpeed Crate Engine is assembled to the same baseline quality and validation standards:
